- Vasystem - IVAO
- The International Virtual Aviation Organisation (IVAO) is a non-profit organization (NPO) based in Belgium (BE). Vasystem is a tool provided by the International Virtual Aviation Organisation that centralizes the data of pilots affiliated with a specific Virtual Airline. In the case of Climb, inclusion in the system is done during the pilot's registration process. Our network (IVAO) deals with personal data of individuals from around the world on a daily basis, and therefore, is obligated to comply with policies known as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This regulation also applies to virtual airlines during their certification process with IVAO. It is a law applicable to all member countries of the European Union, aiming to regulate and safeguard the privacy of users, consumers, and clients. In light of this, Climb fully agrees with the provisions of the law and emphasizes that the information of its affiliates can be shared or removed at any time upon their request, particularly upon the pilot's departure.

- How we use your information
- Climb Virtual Airlines uses the data we collect for three basic purposes: to identify the crew member through their registration (callsign) in order to track their flight hours and career progression at Climb, and to share and/or monitor this crew member through the IVAO and VATSIM simulation networks. By fulfilling these objectives, we combine the data we collect through various web services you use to provide a more seamless, consistent, and personalized experience.
- Sharing your information
- We share your personal data with your consent or as necessary to fulfill any transaction or provide any service you have requested or authorized. We share personal data through our larger network (IVAO) in which we are accredited through the Vasystem tool among other IVAO tools. We also share personal data with vendors or agents who work on our behalf for the purposes described in this statement. For example, companies we hire to provide customer support or assist in the protection and security of our systems and services may need access to personal data to perform these functions.
